 Two teams working this week.  Mike, Jeremy and Vin were over at the Heart Of England way near Chipping Campden to clear about 1750 meters of heavy undergrowth.  No after pictures but the before pictures below show the challenge


  

The second team of John W and Lawrence cleared the library path in Broadway.  No before pictures taken as we started too fast!  BY552 200m cleared.

  


 We then moved on to the heavily overgrown path between Gordon Close and the back of the Sands.  BY522 50m cleared.   

  


The job was complicated by a couple of brushcutter issues but completed in time for Mike and Jeremy to return to recover Stella 1 from repair and then some light refreshment to celebrate John's upcoming birthday - cheers John.

Interesting project to remove a ladder stile and replace with a traditional step stile on Seven Wells (HCC55) between Chipping Camden and Snowshill.  After some initial destructive work to get the old stile out and some hefty digging into stoney ground the job was completed by a small team of Mike, Vin, John W, John B, Pat, Dave and Lawrence.

Two teams today: Team 1 (Jeremy, John W, Simon, John B, Pat and Dave) went back to Willersey to put in the second kissing gate on Willersey Hill fields. Clearly practice makes perfect as the gate was put in in record time despite the stoney ground. After pictures awaiting fence to marry up   Team 2 (team of 2) was Mike and Lawrence.  Two tasks: fitting a grid over a ditch in the run up to a field gate at Greystones Farm; the second was installing a way marker on HCC29 below the abbey fields in Chipping Camden.  Grid protection for ditch by gate Chipping Camden waymarker
