 A tidy up and prepare for moving day today with two teams working. John W, Jeremy and Andy started working on creating new stores for the container for the hand tools bringing a set of pallets back from Broadway arcade.  These will then need to be transported down to the new container when it is on site. The second team of Mike, Vin and me started working on sorting the wood store to get rid of some of the remnants from the piles.  Despite this there was still a large amount left to be moved.  Later in the day Rob and John W went and reworked the piles of wood and picked more items from the Cotswold pile to be retained. After rework by Rob and John W   There is now a large pile of scrap wood available for collection if anyone wants it.

 Todays job organised by Mr Westwood was to clear the footpath which is part Cotswold Way and part Wychavon Way between the church and West End in Broadway (BY574(B) and BY 547(C). The path is about 200m. The job was completed largely by Mike driven Stella and a bit of strimming from Simon.  The team was also joined by Carmine Petta.  Carmine passed his gardening task badge and is now a fully fledged warden (or will be once the H&S session is complete) - welcome Carmine.

 Six of us this week.  Team A was John W, Lawrence and Simon covering gates 1 to 4 followed by a bridge which was not on the plan.  Team A+ (Mike's label) was Vin, Mike and Andy covering bridges 5 and 6. This was mostly clearing around the gates to clear the path through with a bit of overhanging hedge. Beautiful day to be out in the countryside but sadly spoiled by having to go and sit in the Bakers Arms at the end of it. Shame 😉 Gates 1 to 4       The rest

 AFter a couple of delayed starts due to the earthworks outside the depot, the team was back in action again this week with the two jobs at Buckland putting in waymark posts on ABU34 and also tie in the lopping of the fir trees adjacent to the Buckland Manor footpath ABU17. Jeremy, Mike, Pat, John B, Simon and Andy completed the tasks on what looked like a great day. Unfortunately we found out afterwards of John B having this as his last mission.  I am sure we all wish him well in his "retirement" from the wardens as one of, if not the, longest serving members of the Tuesday team.  John started in 2012. Plus a few action shots of JB on his last mission

 Work was lined up but bad cabling stopped play. Unfortunately due to building work on the entrance this has stopped all work parties this week from getting Gerald loaded up for action.
